Silicate-based consolidating primer for silicate finishing
Silica Fond SD is a consolidating primer, based on potassium silicate and specific additives, stabilizer and leveller of the absorption. After the application, the product reacts with carbon dioxide, giving rise to a colloidal silica, that combined with the substrate consolidates and becoming an integrant part of it, and not changing its nature because it has chemical-physical characteristics, very similar to plaster.
